Lascar Catargiu Villa – Direct Bookings

Lascar Catargiu Villa offers spacious 3 and 4 bedroom apartments in central Bucharest, just steps from Piata Romana. Our private apartments are ideal for families, business travelers, and group accommodation in Bucharest, featuring multiple bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and generous living areas in a prime city center location. These Terms & Conditions apply to all direct reservations made through our official website.

These Terms & Conditions govern all direct reservations made through the official website of Lascar Catargiu Villa, Bucharest, Romania.

By completing a reservation through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
The person making the reservation accepts full responsibility for all guests included in the booking.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

To confirm a reservation:

50% of the total amount is charged at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% is automatically charged 7 days before arrival.

If the second payment cannot be processed, Lascar Catargiu Villa reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

All payments are securely processed via Stripe.

By completing the reservation, the cardholder confirms that the payment is authorized and agrees to the stated cancellation and refund policy. The cardholder further agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute in contradiction with these Terms & Conditions after the service has been provided or in accordance with the non-refundable policy.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All paid prepayments are non-refundable.

This means:

The initial 50% paid at booking is non-refundable.
The remaining 50% charged 7 days before arrival is also non-refundable.
No refunds are issued in case of cancellation, no-show, early departure, or modification of the reservation.

Guests are strongly advised to ensure travel dates are correct before confirming the booking and to consider purchasing travel insurance.

Reservation date changes or modifications are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

4. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: from 16:00
Check-out: until 11:00

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

Self check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival.

Lascar Catargiu Villa reserves the right to refuse check-in or cancel a reservation without refund if there are reasonable grounds to believe the booking was made for parties, events, or activities that violate house rules.

Guests may be required to provide valid identification prior to or upon arrival in accordance with Romanian accommodation regulations.

5. House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests and neighbors, the following house rules strictly apply:

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 08:00. Excessive noise during this period is strictly prohibited.

No Parties or Events

Parties, gatherings, events, or any type of disruptive behavior are strictly forbidden.

No Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartments and in all common areas of the building.

Maximum Occupancy

The number of guests must not exceed the number stated in the confirmed reservation.

Respect for Neighbors & Common Areas

Guests must respect neighbors and maintain proper behavior in all common areas of the building (hallways, entrance, staircase, elevator).

Pets

Pets are allowed only with prior approval before arrival. Additional cleaning fees may apply.

Minimum Age Requirement

At least one guest in each reservation must be 18 years or older.

Failure to comply with house rules may result in immediate termination of stay without refund and possible involvement of building management or local authorities.

6. Damages & Liability

Although no security deposit is required, guests are financially responsible for:

Damage to furniture, appliances, or property
Missing items
Excessive cleaning required due to improper use
Breach of house rules

Charges may be applied to the payment method used for booking.

Lascar Catargiu Villa is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings or for accidents occurring during the stay.

7. Force Majeure

Lascar Catargiu Villa shall not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or utility disruptions.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)

Personal data is processed strictly for reservation management and compliance with Romanian legal obligations regarding accommodation reporting.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
